Dynamic Display Names panel

The panel is used for managing dynamic display names for business view elements. See the panel.

The options available in this panel are as follows:

Add Dynamic Display Names

Opens the Add Dynamic Display Names dialog to add dynamic display names for business view elements in a catalog for a specified SID (security identifier).

Delete

Deletes the selected dynamic display name resources.

Dynamic display name resources table

All columns are sortable except for Dynamic Display Names. To sort the table by a certain column, click on the column name. By Default the table is sorted by Catalog.

• Checkbox
  Specifies whether or not to select a dynamic display name resource. Select the checkbox on the column header to select all the dynamic display name resources.

The table consists of these columns:

• Catalog
  Displays the catalogs of the dynamic display name resources with the full resource path, for example, /SampleReports.cat.
• Organization Name
  Shows the organizations that the SIDs belong to. The column is available to system admin when the organization feature is enabled.
• SID
  Displays the security identifiers (SID). An SID can be a group, a role, or a user in the JReport Server security system.
• Dynamic Display Names
  • Edit
    Opens the Edit Dynamic Display Names dialog to edit the specified dynamic display name resource.
  • Import
    Opens the Select Dynamic Display Name File dialog to import dynamic display names from a local resource bundle file.
  • Export
    Exports the dynamic display names to a resource bundle file.
