Category Property dialog

This dialog appears when you:

• Do any of the following in the Business Cube Editor, Report Cube Editor or Business View Editor:
  • Click Insert > Category or the Insert Category button .
  • Right-click the business/report cube/business view or a category and select Add Category from the shortcut menu.
  • Right-click a category and select Edit Category from the shortcut menu.
• Do any of the following in the Catalog Browser resource tree:
  • Right-click a business/report cube/business view or a category and click Add Category on the shortcut menu.
  • Right-click a category and click Edit Category on the shortcut menu.

It helps you to add or edit a category, and consists of the following tabs:

• General tab
• Security tab

OK

Applies all changes and closes the dialog.

Cancel

Does not retain any changes and closes the dialog.

Help

Displays the help document about this feature.

General tab

Specifies properties for the category. See the tab.

Name

Specifies the name of the category. Not available to business view category.

Display Name

Specifies the display name of the category.

Description

Specifies the description of the category which will be shown when you hover the mouse pointer over the business/report cube category in the Resource View panel of Page Report Studio, or over the business view category in the Resources panel of Web Report Studio.

Security tab

Specifies user accessibility to the members of the dimension or group objects in the data source. See the tab.
